Nettiannes is the florist in Belle Plaine, Iowa and has been serving the local and surrounding counties for ten years. Nettiannes started with a front porch sale in rural Iowa County. This bloomed into a bi-annual event on the Smith homestead. The fall event provided a one-of-a-kind shopping experience in a barn market atmosphere with multiple vendors, food trucks, live music, pumpkins, mums and so much more. Vendors were set up in a large shed on the property and in the surrounding pasture. The other event was a unique holiday market in the shed full of twinkle lights, cocoa, and holiday magic. During the next few years Nettiannes provided the gift and home decor areas in the local pharmacies and in 2022 we opened our first brick and mortar shop on the historic main street in Belle Plaine, so that friends and customers could visit us more than twice a year. With the new shop, came the addition of a full service floral design studio. Sarah had done flower arrangements and weddings as a hobby for years, so the change to add them to Nettiannes was intriguing and came at the right time. Sarah and her mom, Annette, comprise the amazing team currently providing beautiful arrangements and carefully curated merchandise for the community.

Nettiannes has always been a mix of old...new...vintage...handmade... one-of-a-kinds and now with the addition of our "fresh finds", we combine all of our favorites into the shop we have today. From traditional to modern, rustic to elegant, we treat each floral order as a unique opportunity to create something that is personal and special. We specialize in arrangements for events including weddings, funerals, proms, dance recitals, holidays, anniversaries, birthdays and other custom orders. Our exceptional selection of merchandise includes a wide variety of home décor for various themes and holidays as well as fun t-shirts, baby gifts, seasonal gifts, garden art, candles, cards, pillows, Iowa coffee, local honey, rescued treasures, wreaths, refurbished items and so much more. We also have a comforting selection of sympathy gifts for all situations including cardinals, lanterns, farming, fishing, just to name a few. We are happy to work with you to personalize memorial orders to make it something that will bring good memories in a difficult time. We also design and create gift baskets for any occasion.
We do have a large delivery area and will provide you with exceptional customer care. We are active in our hometown and surrounding communities and support school functions and various fundraisers during the year. We pride ourselves on small town values and being kind. We want our shop to be somewhere you can come if you are having a bad day-not to push a sale on you, but for you to spend some time on our worn hardwood floors, smelling candles and listening to music-refilling your cup and leaving with a smile.
